Looking back on my journey in OT security, I'm struck by how fortunate I've been. A big thank you to Will Tang who took a chance on me, opening the door to what would become my life's passion. Thanks to Will, he gave me the start to become a member of two groundbreaking OT cybersecurity programs, where curiosity became my greatest asset. Each visit to nuclear plants, combined cycle facilities, electric substations, and gas compression or storage sites brought new questions, new insights, and deeper understanding. The opportunity to learn from these operators firsthand was invaluable, but the true gift was connecting with passionate professionals worldwide who shared the same passion.
